Lead tax planning for TechnipFMC in the United Kingdom and support business development teams with commercial opportunities across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide tax advice on commercial opportunities in the EMEA region, covering both direct and indirect taxes, and conduct contract reviews
Identify tax planning opportunities in the UK and implement them in collaboration with the global tax planning team
Advise Operations and Finance teams in the UK on tax matters, excluding tax audits, tax compliance, and tax accounting/reporting
Act as the key focal point for tax matters relating to vessels, with support from regional tax leads
YOU ARE MEANT FOR THIS JOB IF:
You have significant experience in delivering tax support for tendering activities, including contract reviews
You possess strong knowledge of UK taxation
You have international tax and tax planning experience
You have experience in the vessels and shipping industry
You are experienced in interacting with external advisors in a cost-efficient manner
You can clearly explain complex planning structures to non-tax personnel
You have both international and UK experience, with 7–10 years PQE in advisory firms or in-house roles
