Service – Global Service operations – Global Offshore Operations
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and coaching Offshore Service Site Technicians at new Offshore Service sites across all Regions during the Service Readiness and site Ramp-Up phases. The aim is to ensure that there is sufficient knowledge sharing across Global Offshore Service operations and that best practices and new learnings are implemented across the whole value chain, minimising lost production from day one.
As a mentor and coach, you will provide guidance and support with day-to-day operations of the windfarm to help train the local site team operate windfarm to maximum efficiency.
During your first year you will undergo Vestas technical training at our training facilities in Denmark, along with field training alongside your colleagues at one of our first V236 operational sites before you will be placed at one our new Offshore Service sites across the globe.
You will be required to work either onshore or offshore on a rotational shift pattern working from sites utilizing either an SOV or CTV, supporting our first V236 sites from Service Commencement. You’ll be working alongside the site team using your knowledge and experience to develop their skills and competencies when it comes to troubleshooting and service activities to reduce LPF and will move on to the next project/region upon meeting exit criteria.
Responsibilities
As a V236 Field Trainer / V236 Technician, you will be responsible for training and coaching your colleagues on how to operate the new game-changing V236-15MW Turbines. You will Act as a mentor and ambassador for operational excellence within the region and promote the OneVestas philosophy.
