Are you an experienced Electrical Construction Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Winthrop Technologies, a leading data centre delivery partner headquartered in Dublin, is expanding its team. We are currently delivering multiple turnkey data centre projects across seven European countries, totalling over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We are now hiring a dedicated Electrical Construction Manager to support the successful delivery of these high-value, fast-paced projects.

Key Responsibilities

As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing site Quality Assurance in collaboration with the QA Manager.

• Managing the Project Schedule alongside the wider project team.

• Preparing detailed two-week lookaheads for upcoming electrical works.

• Ensuring adequate labour is maintained in line with project programme.

• Upholding high standards of work quality throughout all phases.

• Monitoring and reporting subcontractor progress vs. schedule and manpower plans.

• Notifying Project Management of all variations and delays.

• Verifying all onsite materials and plant meet agreed specifications.

• Ensuring materials are safely stored and coordinated.

• Supporting project handover and close-out including O&M Manuals, Punch Lists, Safety File, and QA documentation.

• Enforcing health and safety compliance on-site.

• Driving continuous improvement in site safety practices.

• Keeping the site clean and well-maintained by all subcontractors.

• Completing weekly ‘Don’t Walk By’ safety cards.

• Implementing internal procedures with package managers.

• Ensuring change management processes (cost and schedule) are correctly followed.

Requirements

• A recognised Electrical Qualification is essential (e.g. City & Guilds, HNC/BTEC, NVQ).

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role within mechanical and electrical contracting.

• Data centre construction experience is highly desirable.

• Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
