Foundation T&I Engineer (all genders) (2.5 year Fixed-Term Contract)
Your future tasks:
Support the planning, engineering, and execution of foundation transport and installation (T&I) activities, ensuring technical soundness, safety, environmental compliance, and alignment with project requirements across offshore wind projects.
Coordinate interfaces between foundation design, scour protection, fabrication, installation, and noise mitigation systems, ensuring integrated and execution-ready solutions.
Oversee transportation, marshalling, offshore installation, and noise mitigation installation activities, ensuring compliance with Skyborn HSSQ policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Review and coordinate technical documentation including method statements (RAMS/MS), lifting plans, seafastening designs, noise mitigation installation procedures, drawings, and as-built documentation, ensuring compliance with Employer Requirements.
Coordinate installation readiness activities, including risk assessments, vessel and equipment mobilisation, FATs, mock-ups, certifier and MWS interfaces, and construction certification support.
Support offshore execution and close-out by managing technical clarifications, change processes, daily progress coordination, contractor interfaces, dispute support, and handover to O&M.
Your profile:
Degree in Offshore, Mechanical, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline, with 3–6 years of experience in transport and installation (T&I) engineering within offshore wind, marine construction, or oil & gas projects.
Practical experience with offshore wind foundation types (e.g. monopiles, jackets) and their transport, installation, and associated noise mitigation requirements.
Strong knowledge of offshore lifting operations, marine logistics, vessel capabilities, and installation equipment, including support of noise mitigation systems during offshore works.
Experience reviewing and developing installation procedures, method statements, lifting plans, and noise mitigation documentation in line with project and regulatory requirements.
Solid understanding of applicable industry standards (e.g. DNV, ISO) and Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) processes, with exposure to certification and compliance activities.
Effective communicator in multi-stakeholder and offshore environments, fluent in English, willing to travel and work offshore during critical installation and noise mitigation activities.
