3D-model model construction of new bridges/tunnels, typically concrete or steel structures, occasionally timber/wood;
Extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models and completion of these to be used as “approved for construction”. Similarly for repair works on concrete and steel bridges;
Drawing set-up according to project/client specifications (standards) in a ProjectWise environment;
Leading the development and implementation of BIM processes specific to the construction;
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in BIM workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
Our requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field;
Experience a relevant position as a BIM Engineer. We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 3 years to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in Tekla Structures, drawing, and modeling in 3D structural design;
Experience from infrastructure projects preferably reinforcement and concrete structures;
Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
Interest in the BIM/VDC area and willing to learn new software constantly;
Good to have: Grasshopper/Rhino, ProjectWise, programming skills (Python, SQL, C#, VBA etc.).
